Giveaway rules: Class Night for Two, weekly

Who runs it. Bow to Plates (Chef Abraham Wong), Vancouver BC (“Bow to Plates”). Our mailing address is on the sign-up page. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. By entering you release Instagram and Meta from any liability connected to it.

The prize. This is a weekly rotation of five (5) separate giveaways. Each giveaway has one (1) winner, who receives one (1) seat in that giveaway’s Bow to Plates class plus one (1) seat for a friend: two (2) seats in total. Each seat is valued at $73 CAD, so each prize is worth $146 in total. The winner and their friend must be 19 or older. The prize can’t be exchanged for cash or transferred, and anything not listed here (such as transportation) is not included. If the class is cancelled, we will offer seats in another Bow to Plates class of equal value.

The five giveaways.

Who can enter. Residents of Metro Vancouver, BC, aged 19 or older, who can attend the evening class for the giveaway they enter. Not open to residents of Quebec, or to Bow to Plates staff and contractors or the people they live with.

How to enter. No purchase necessary.

That’s a maximum of two chances per person in each giveaway. Entries don’t carry over to later giveaways. Entries made by bots, multiple accounts or fake identities are void.

Your consent to emails. Ticking the class-news box is how you enter, and it is your consent to receive Bow to Plates class news and new class dates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Unsubscribing does not cancel your entry.

Entry period and draw. Entries open Monday, October 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM PT. Each later giveaway opens at 12:00 AM PT on its first day and every giveaway closes at 11:59 PM PT on its last day, as listed above. The day after each giveaway closes, Abraham Wong will draw one (1) winner at random from all eligible entries in that giveaway, and two (2) backup winners in order. Your chances depend on the number of eligible entries.

Winners. We will contact the selected entrant by email at the address they confirmed. To claim the prize, the entrant must reply within 48 hours, correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without help, and confirm that they and their friend are 19 or older and can attend that giveaway’s class. If the entrant doesn’t meet these conditions, we may move to the next backup winner. We will never ask for payment, a password or card details. We won’t announce a winner publicly without their permission.

Your information. We collect your email address and Instagram handle only to run this giveaway and, if you ticked the box, to send you Bow to Plates class news. We don’t share it with other businesses or use it for any other brand.

General. We may disqualify any entry that breaks these rules. We may change or cancel the giveaway if something outside our control, such as fraud, a technical failure or class cancellation, affects it. These rules are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
