This is not a cooking demo

Everyone gets a real job.

Abraham teaches the room, but the group makes the meal. You leave fed, and with a technique you can use again.

  1. 01

    Make it.

Hands on the dough, filling, knife, pan or plate.

  2. 02

    Understand it.

Learn what to look, feel and listen for while you cook.

  3. 03

    Eat together.

The class ends at the table, with the food your group made.

Three ways to start

Your evening should sound like you.

Pick the closest starting point. It does not need to be a finished plan yet.

01

Build your own cooking class

Start with a dish, a technique or a menu your group keeps talking about. Abraham will tell you what works for the room, the time and the people coming before you book.

Best for birthdays, friends, families and teams who want the menu to feel like theirs.
02

Make mini mooncakes

Fill, press and shape mini traditional baked mooncakes or soft no-bake mochi mooncakes. This is one of Abraham’s signature classes, with plenty for every pair of hands to do.

Best for Mid-Autumn gatherings, mixed ages and anyone who loves precise little things.
03

Put live music at the table

For a smaller gathering, the food can share the evening with live violin. Abraham plays classical and jazz, and shapes the music around the room rather than dropping a recital into dinner.

Best for a celebration, client evening or dinner that should feel unmistakably personal.

Before you say yes

Know the whole plan.

A private class should not arrive as a vague package and a surprise invoice. The proposal puts the practical details in one place.

  • 01The menu or class idea
  • 02How the group takes part
  • 03What the venue needs
  • 04What is included in the quote
  • 05The date and final price

Your host

Hi, I’m Abraham.

I cook, I teach, and I still play classical and jazz violin.

I grew up in Hong Kong and started cooking when I was nine. Cantonese food is part of my foundation, but it is not the edge of what I cook or teach. I show you the technique, explain why it works, then hand the work back to you.

The useful questions

What people need to know.

What can we cook?

Begin with the dish, technique or kind of meal your group would enjoy. Cantonese food and mini mooncakes are part of Abraham’s foundation, not the boundary of the offer. He will confirm what is practical for your time, venue and group before you book.

How much does a private cooking class cost?

Private classes are quoted after the group size, format, venue and ingredient needs are clear. Your proposal will show the format and the quote together, so you can judge the whole plan before deciding.

Where can the class take place?

Across Metro Vancouver, in a kitchen or venue that suits the class. If you already have a space, include it in the inquiry. Abraham will check the setup before anything is confirmed.

Do we need cooking experience?

No. Abraham demonstrates each stage, explains why it works and keeps the room moving without rushing it. Confident cooks are welcome too.

Can you accommodate allergies or dietary needs?

Share every allergy and dietary need in the inquiry. Abraham will confirm what can be handled safely for the proposed menu and space before you book.
